Yay!!! My laptop has finally been fixed!! I am typing this post right now with my laptop!!! Haha, it is nice to be reunited with it. Anyway, I spent my time updating the songs in my phone. I hardly listen to them at all, I might as well delete them and create some memory space. Now I have around 120 songs only.

Today my sister and I had a mini, vindictive fight on facebook. My sister put this profile pic in which i look really retarded but wouldn't change it, so I got back at her with a horrible pic of her. And the fight continued till we reached a peace deal. Anyway, I think I better be starting with my homework. Chemistry, Physics and hindi left, plus study a bit for the SMO thingy, bye!!!

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! This cannot be happening!! Why are the holidays ending!!!! Sulk, I want them to be longer... but actually, i am missing school, kinda. I hope the they do not extend the holidays..... they might substitute it during the December holidays, and that will be disastrous. But, I guess we have to think about our safety too.

And to those people who were hoping that there would be more cases of H1N1 so the holidays will be extended, I think that is really mean. They are kind of wishing somebody ill health so they can enjoy extra week of holidays... but what if that person is you? I guess, i am sounding funny right now, But i just read a book about a girl who suffered from cystic Fibrosis, so it kinda touched me.

Another problem... I haven't started my homework yet!!! NOOOOOO!!! Ah, panicking now. Loads of stuff to do and only 5 more days. Ugh, and now i have to prepare for SMO, which I donno how to, or I will make a fool of myself. Sheesh, Chem is really hard... maybe i will start with the physics project tomorrow, i will do as much chem as I can.

There must have been a mistake. Please. Who in their right mind would actually select me for the second round of SMO? Only a nutcase. I probably didn't tell them that i only knew how to solve three questions. Now I will have to go next Saturday and make a BIG, HUMONGOUS, GINORMOUS fool of myself grinning stupidly, trying to solve questions that i don't even understand.

Anyway, let me forget about this nightmare for a while. Oh yeah, I told you that I would be going for an outing with my pri sch frens, didn't I? It was super duper fun!!!!! Felt like a primary school kid after a long time. First, in the morning, I rushed to catch a screening of Drag Me To Hell with Niki. Half the time I was closing my eyes. The other half I was screaming. After that, went to west coast park!!!! Uma joined us at the bus stop. Spent time playing frisbee, chatting, sitting eating ice-cream, Then, had dinner at Mac. We were telling loads of crazy jokes and laughing madly at them.

So, all in all, a summary of my day. Tommorow, I will be going for a study session at Niki's condo. The Reading room! (ah, the memories!) Lets see how much we 'study'. And I finished reading A Thousand Splendid Suns. A fantastic and touching book. I actually cried at the end, the letter part.

Ok, i haven't posted in quite a while. Hehe, sorry, i have just been too lazy. Been spending my time reading books. I have read Angels & Demons, Da Vinci Code, Harry Potter the 4th and 5th book (for the millionth time). Speaking about these books, i came across quite funny passages in the books. Let me type them out for you to read. I think you might find them interesting.

Da Vinci Code Pg 419, last para, he is talking abt Baphomet the horned god of fertility, who has the head of a goat:

Anyways, back to my life. Nothing much going on. Went to Sentosa last Thursday for Cadbury outing. Super Funnnnn!!!! We camwhored a lot. My fave pic is the splash kicking thingy and the ones taken at the staircase in Sentosa.

Been listening to My Immortal. Nice song. Going for picnic tommorow with Niki and Uma!!!! Couldn't go last week. Should be fun, with all our crazy crappingness. I just have to make myself extra hyper to get ready for tommorow. I was unbelievably lethargic today. I am planning to start reading A Thousand Splendid Suns. My sister keeps going on and on about how wonderful the book is.

Omygosh!!! I watched the first episode of Aapki Antara yesterday. It was nice. The girl is sooo cute!!! Oh, and not to mention, well smart too. The serial looks promising. I hope it turns out to be a nice one. It is about autism, not the typical property-fights, mother/daughter in-law fights and all. I missed today's episode! I wonder what happened.

The June Holidays are finally becoming fun!!!!!! For some reason, many people (me included) have been complaining that the holidays are boring and they are rotting at home.

But, anyway, whether we enjoy our holidays or not depends on how we fill it up. Holidays are boring if we just sit at home like lethargic bums and expect fun things to come to us. No! We must take the initiative to plan interesting stuff!!

Now that i have finished my boring lecture, lets move on.

So, yeah, like i was saying... The holidays are finally becoming funnnnn!!!!! Because, i have quite a few outings to look forward to!!!! This is my overview of this week

8th: went playground!!!!!
9th: Invited some friends over as a gathering to play Wii, mainly they played while I watched all the bangbangs. Uma came over too!!! We had a wonderful baking session!!! We made yummy crossbreeds between cookies and muffins.
10th: Outing with Niki and Uma!!!! Watching Angels and Demons and then lunch and blahblahblah.
11th: Cadburry outing!!! Going Sentosa Beach, potluck!!!!
12th: private stuff. Never really thought abt it. Should be fun right, Pratika?

I have just realised how boring holidays can be when you have nothing to do or look forward. I don't remember ever being this bored last year in the hols. Prolly coz i had a trip to A' Famosa to look forward to and my cousin was here in Singapore. Well, my grandma is coming on 13th. Things should brighten up after that.

Anyway, I was reading more fanfic about Twilight. (Don't look at me like that!) And I found this story. It is SUPER FUNNY. Alice and Bella are alone then they decide to make prank calls. I decided to do something that is helpful and not boring at the same times. So, i decided to download new songs for the car!!!! My dad has been complaining forever that he is bored of listening to the same hindi songs over and over again. Well, I haven't really watched any new movies, so I don't really know any new songs, so I spent my whole afternoon listening to songs, deciding whether they were nice, then downloading them. But, thanks to the strike, there aren't many new movies released. So, i could download only 41 songs.

You know, the instrumental version of some songs sounds quite nice. For example, the instrumental version of Soniyo and Pehla Nasha. Super nice. I love them!

And I am finally going for an outing with my Primary School friends!!!! Going to watch a movie, then have lunch. Then, do anything we want!!!! Haha, can't wait. It has been forever since we met up. And Niki hasn't even seen me since last year. She kept telling me to cut my hair. And I did!! Haha!!

I have finally had a moment of epiphany!!!

I will not tell you what it is about coz you guys will probably laugh your heads off. This epiphany will not cause any major change in me or anything, but, I will surely not be so emo anymore. Did anybody actually notice that i was emo-ing? I think not. Hah, proof that i am a good actress (not! not!). If I start acting, you guys will probably be rolling on the floor laughing. And i will be too. Ask me to do a crying scene, and i sure will, but will crack up after 2 seconds of super-fake crying.

Today, i decided to do something useful instead of rotting away in front of the computer, searching for (hard to find) interesting twilight fanfic stories. Note: Stories where Edward is NOT a vampire are BORING. Maybe except for a few. Oh, and Jazz, Em and Bells are cute as siblings. And most of the stories are sick. Ugh. So, to be a bit more useful, I decided to empty The Box.

The Box is a cardboard box where I put dump all my files and papers that i don't need. i.e. files from last year, stray pieces of paper that i am too lazy to throw/organize. So, it is a BIG mess when you look inside. So, today, i summed up all my courage and emptied the whole box on my bed. BAD Choice. I guess we will have to sleep in the hall today. That explains everything doesn't it?

Right, so apart from that nothing much. Wait, how could i forget? MY GRANDMA IS COMING OVER TO SINGAPORE!!!!! WHOOTS!!!! Yayyyy!!! I love my grandma, I think i have the cutestest grandmas in the world. She will be nice company to have at our house. I hope she will not get bored though. Probably not. With somebody like me in the house, she will probably have something to do ALL the time.

Was just remembering last year's sleepover we had for her b'day. It was sooo much fun.

We went to JEC (ice skating!!!), decided to go Sentosa, realised Niki's wallet was lost, filed report at City cabs, Went on the luge, came back to the island, decided to make it into a sleepover, chitchatted all night, slept for a very short while till somebody (can't remember who) woke us up saying she was hungry, decided to make pizza at 2 AM in the night, ate and chatted a little more, went back to sleep, woke up and can't remember what happened after that. Really, was so much fun. I remember our crazy Birthday rituals. Haha.

One reason I hate growing up, is that you become more mature, and suddenly you decide that you don't need to have a whole fuss about growing older. Which means no more gifts on your b'day, no more parties, no more sleepovers, no more cake, no more birthday rituals. I love Birthdays, especially in Primary school, it gave us an excuse for just having a lot of fun. Sigh, since i am not sleepy, and am in that mood, i will bore you all stupid with all those memories of the best B' days SNUP(AKA animal junction!!!!) ever had.

Niki's party
She just moved into their new condo, we were all pretty much excited by the fact that there was a swimming pool. And a lot more cool facilities. Obviously we had fun. Played rescue on the 'island', water catching, making fun of that couple practically making out in the pool, talked about STUFF back home, filmed that retarded movie thingy i came up with. Then, we made a whole lot of chaos in the reading room, thinking ppl couldn't hear us from outside. We were wrong of course.

Uma's B'day
Went to her house. Well, did the usual stuff, came up with a drama where i was the evil wizard about to turn the whole world into poo with a magical poison ball or something like that. Then, had some retarded dancelikecrazyandthereisnotomorrow session, pair dances, dance dramas, daredevil, turning dizzy, then of course our new and revised birthday ritual. Mind you, it was like a real ritual. It is our tradition to have birthday rituals. There was no party without it.

My B'day!!
Haha, well, obviously my B'day was going to be included. You didn't think i would miss it, didja? Well, the best party I ever threw was the one after PSLE. Thank goodness i have a late year Birthdate that usually falls right after exams.... when everyone is in a good mood. And I always made a fuss about my B'day. I still would, if I had enough people to invite over, and i was not supposed to be mature.

Well, it was a 2 day 1 night camp at Changi Beach. Cool, right!!! Complete with barbecue and stuff like that. Plus three 6 man tents, Three families, My grandmother, cricket matches, dancing, Changi Beach idol, one toddler, and a whole load of other people. We also booked an 'apartment' in Changi Village blocks.

Was supposed to keep it a secret from my friends saying it was just some sleepover, but i couldn't keep the secret. My cake was a pink, barbie, cupcake cake(cake made of 40 cupcakes together). I did my best to make it as childish as i could considering it was my last chance before i actually became a teen. Ah, the fond memories. I still have the decorative doll which was on the cake on my table. the cake was heavenly. Can't write everything that happened. Would be too long.

Physics project at Audrey's house again!!!!

The usual, promise to try not to get distracted, then the Mac comes out and then the distraction starts and then a whole lot of Grammy awards, Gossip Girl, Heroes, Heights of celebrities. But this time there was something new, i watched SAW. Well, technically not exactly, since i watched like only 2 minutes of the hair trap then freaked out.

I was innocently tearing pieces of newspaper when Angie and Audrey asked me to start singing at the top of my voice, so that i would block the sounds of the 'SAW' video. I gladly did so, but i wandered over to the comp just to find out what was a bigger horror than me singing 'Thunder' in my whiniest, lowest, loudest voice. I found out, and i regretted it.

Ugh. And i was so scared about having nightmares that i couldn't sleep. In the end i did, but not peacefully. I woke up, with a relief and thought, lucky, no dreams. But.... it turns out it was only 1 a.m. Yike. then, all of a sudden I felt something tug my hair. Then, i screamed. It was only my sister. If u watched the hair trap part, you will know why i screamed.

Anyway, in the end i did sleep, without nightmares. Hehe.

Today was SMO. Major disaster. I only knew how to solve like three questions. After that, we had to tackle the problem of my locker. I actually had some keys which were exactly the same size and brand of my duplicate of the locker key. I had like 10 of them. But they were all so rusty. So, i brought the 3 shiniest ones. But i had no hope of them actually working. Coz, i thought i lost my duplicate as well. So then i am like, "Kay, lets try the first one" And then, the key goes in and the locker opens. It was epic. It is lame when i just say like this, but it would have been real funny if you were there.

So that is it. Came home, researched on Twilight a bit. Fanfic can be ridiculous. There is one where Emmett falls for someone else, Jasper and Edward become gay with each other. Then, the three girls are heartbroken. But then, Alice goes to Volterra for shopping(?!?) where the newest king falls for her and Rosalie and Bella become lesbo with each other. Could it have been more retarded? But it was interesting.
