re-emerge
and this is why i love blogs. because years later, when you revisit them, the younger you can reach out to you when no one else can. because, as you read those posts, those words written by a young teenage girl whose heart wasn't maimed, who had only just started out in the world clutching her hopes and dreams, who was filled with a quiet sort of determination, you realise that isn't over yet.

You realise that that girl is still there somewhere inside of you. That it isn't time to give up. You've got a long way to go and now is too early to wave the white flag. You've been an idiot to even think that way. Those thoughts about not being good enough for yourself... it's not for you to decide is it? your job right now is to make sure you continue working, ploughing your way onwards. to make sure that young girl would be proud if she knew how far she'd gotten in life, and how happy she would be to see the beautiful strong young woman that she's turned into.

and also remember to make a note of these little things, because years down the road, someone will be smiling and thanking you for preserving these memories.

Swirls 'n' Twirls :D
