Holiday!!!
Woohoo!
Holiday today!!!
I'm slacking...
Woke up at 12 today. Yeah!

English we have to do a 'not exactly a book report' thingy, and we have to read three books!!! I finally have a legitimate reason to read books!! I borrowed Prisoner of Tehran. I am planning to use My sister's keeper and the curious case of Benjamin button as the other two books though I'm not sure.

Saturday was Hindi centre's day(HCD). It was held in the UCC, same as our SYF venue. Like a crazy girl i was like: 'see there's where we were waiting for our turn', 'OMG! this is exactly the place we were sitting' and 'we were waiting for the judges to come and when they came they actually smiled at us you know!!' etc.

HCD was kinda fun. I (fortunately) missed the boring first half with the speeches and all cos i was sitting in the dressing room waiting for others to come along with Uma doing random things. I think our performance went well, it was a unique performance, with human puppets. =) Though i kinda messed up at the last part struggling to come out of the curtain. My face was stuck inside the hole and just wouldn't come out. Will show a pic when i can.

Ours was the perf just before the interval, after the interval we watched the rest of the show. I screamed and cheered and sang (totally off tune) along with the songs and laughed and clapped and well, you know... the usual stuff. The children's world drama thingy was so cute. I really enjoyed being back with the desi crowd for a while. Some people found it kind of boring, what with all the speeches in the first half. Can't wait for next years one though.

I'm gonna go swinging now. there is nothing more peaceful than swinging. just flying and soaring and doing nothing but just thinking. It is a great way to reflect on your day. Gotta go.

bye!
